Acceptance of competition finalists’ submissions ended on February 17. For the past four months, consortia led by the National Research University Higher School of Economics, Krasnoyarskgrazhdanproekt and Gradplan Moscow have been developing their own vision of the integrated development of all city districts, taking into account the latest technologies and approaches to architecture and urban planning, and the special construction conditions in Norilsk.

On March 15, a meeting of the council of experts will take place. Representatives will evaluate the competition works, prepare recommendations for the jury, and make proposals for distributing prizes among the finalists.

The final jury meeting will be held on March 22, chaired by Dmitry Karasev, mayor of Norilsk. Members of the jury will select the best concept that will become a basis for all city transformations. Interesting ideas from other competition proposals for the city can also be used in further transformation.
